"I want to take old music as seriously as I can — with the instrumentation, with the style of interpretation," says Midori Seiler. The Baroque violinist has taken over the artistic direction of the Zamus Festival, which celebrates historical music from May 21 to May 31. Under the motto "Ecstasy and Contemplation," there are 30 concerts and events on the program. Among the nearly 40 soloists are artists such as Andreas Staier, the Duo Pleyel, or Ludus instrumentalis. Baroque music meets Flamenco, light art, meditation, or music theater.
