The zamus: amateur baroque orchestra is the first baroque orchestra for amateur musicians. This year, it is now collaborating with the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln to embark on a new repertoire: Together with students of singing, it presents an opera pastiche, just as Antonio Vivaldi did in 1735 with "Il Tamerlano." Here, aria highlights from the most successful works of various composers come together to form a new whole that now tells its own story. zamus: amateur baroque orchestra goes opera – a first step for a shared and sustainable musical experience.
