"wide awake" – 11th international theater festival for young audiences

From May 17 to 25, the Helios Theater invites productions for young audiences from around the world to Hamm and the surrounding area to create memorable theater experiences. Every two years, "wide awake" brings together international artists to present theater for everyone on stage. Since 2002, the festival has created space for encounters and exchange.

Théâtre de la Guimbarde

The Théâtre de la Guimbarde is aimed at children – from toddlers to teenagers – and offers them an artistic encounter that evokes emotions and raises questions. La Guimbarde enables a nuanced view of the world through theater, a critical perspective on society, and illuminates coexistence in today's time.
