In the middle of the forest, between gray gnomes, wild drudges, and robbers, Ronja Robber's Daughter grows up. On this special afternoon, Gut Bustedt transforms into Mattisburg – and the surrounding forest into Mattiswald. Together with small and large adventurers, we set off on an expedition through Astrid Lindgren's world.
Actress Susanne Bormann reads from Ronja Robber's Daughter – a story about friendship, courage, solidarity, and the love between father and daughter. The medieval water castle from the year 1415 thus becomes the setting for Ronja's adventures.
The afternoon is musically accompanied by the Bielefeld band Randale, which has been bringing rock, punk, ska, and pop for families to the stage for 20 years.
Afterwards, the Biology Center and Gut Bustedt invite you to join in: discover animals and plants, be outdoors – and for refreshment, there’s homemade pizza.
