What are we applauding for? What would we like to be applauded for? In the performance of Swiss theater artist Silvia Jedrusiak, it is about the question of appreciation.
Again and again, the performers invite the audience: YYou clap for me now. With great enthusiasm for experimentation, a lot of humor, and intense physicality, the performers from three generations explore the pressure of expectations, the struggle for recognition, the constant evaluation from the outside – and the fear of not being enough. They draw the audience into a whirlpool of exhaustion, stumbling, and sometimes even failure. Together, they seek sincere answers to the question: "What is it worth to me?" In doing so, they are constantly exposed to the hurdles and pitfalls between the poles of power and powerlessness.
