Together with composer and sound artist Johannes Malfatti, Emanuele Soavi has created a spatial experience that visitors can literally immerse themselves in. The location of the performance plays a special role: The future Pina Bausch Center, a place in development, opens up as a space of possibilities. The architecture reflects the central theme of the production: What does it mean to be visible in a world that is constantly changing?

On May 13 (starting at 12 PM), the format tanz.backstage offers a look behind the scenes: Here, one can watch the rehearsals for the piece and then, in conversation with those involved, learn more about the artistic background of "The Day I Became a Cloud." To conclude the festival, Soavi invites you to a workshop at the Tanz Station – Barmer Bahnhof on May 18.
