The handstand artists from right way down let the forest emerge as a living organism on stage.
Your bodies grow together, sway, collapse. The choreography over the cycle of life and death redefines the art of handstand balance in a collage of bodies. The traditionally rather solitary discipline becomes a shared form of expression, a collective strength, a wild "forest" of arms, legs, and bodies that breathe in and out in symbiosis. In doing so, one almost forgets that the performers move almost continuously upside down – already an extraordinary physical achievement.
The collective was founded at the University of the Arts in Stockholm. All six acrobats work on different projects, but they come together again and again to turn the world upside down.
