"It is the privilege of exceptional artists to draw the whole light onto themselves. The violinist Chouchane Siranossian is of this kind." The regular audience of the Brühl Castle Concerts will surely join in this tribute from the French music magazine "Diapason," after all, the musician was concertmaster for many years at the Capella Augustina before she made a solo career worldwide. For her return to her old musician friends, Chouchane Siranossian has chosen Beethoven's groundbreaking Violin Concerto. Alongside, the "Symphony with the Timpani Strike" is one of the great London Symphonies on the program, the creation of which was significantly influenced by Johann Peter Salomon, a musician and impresario from Bonn like Beethoven, who worked in London: Without him, Haydn might have never come to England.
