In the children's play for ages 6 and up, Freddie is the central character. And she is an expert on global disasters and knows everything about the sinking of the Titanic.
About the tragedy that is brewing at her kitchen table, she unfortunately cannot find anything in her "great book of disasters." The arguments of the parents have given way to a silence that becomes louder with Freddie's growing fears of loss. In her desperation, she reaches for the water jug and first floods the kitchen, then the whole world. Freddie will not be able to avoid the collision with the iceberg on her journey on the Titanic. With a lot of linguistic wit and psychological insight, the ensemble Mummpitz demonstrates how, despite family shipwrecks, there are enough lifeboats for everyone. ~ Dora Schneider
