Sunday evening. A long day comes to an end, the family gathers on the sofa – to read, talk, play, or watch TV. Many know this special atmosphere. Perhaps one of the legendary Agatha Christie adaptations was also playing – like "Murder on the Nile".
For one evening, the company Wago itself becomes the scene of one of its most spectacular criminal cases. The actor Christian Brückner – known as the German voice of Robert De Niro – reads from the classic "Murder on the Nile" and brings the famous crime to life.
At the center: the brilliant Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, who investigates on a Nile steamer across Egypt. A wealthy heiress is murdered in her sleep – and all passengers are suspicious. Christie devises an exciting scenario of jealousy, deception, and desperate love that Poirot must solve with his sharp mind.
The appropriate sound is provided by Ekki Busch, accordionist of the band Element of Crime. His playing accompanies the crime reading atmospherically – and remains present even afterwards: Because afterwards, it's off to the water together.
After the reading and the concert, it’s time to set sail! On board the SC Poseidon, the journey takes you over the Weser, through the historic lock, and along the banks of Minden. With small snacks, drinks, and music by Ekki Busch, the evening comes to an end – and perhaps the last mystery surrounding the murder on the Nile will also be revealed.
