In a completely ordinary house, in a completely ordinary street lives Lillebror, a completely ordinary boy. Until a man named Karlsson, who has a small propeller on his back that allows him to fly, decides to land with him. Nothing is as it was anymore – because Karlsson does whatever he wants. With his mischievous pranks, he turns Lillebror's life upside down.

From a class trip that takes an unexpected turn to an exploding steam engine – Karlsson not only has all sorts of tricks up his sleeve, with his ideas he simply blows boredom away! How much one wishes to have such a crazy friend like Karlsson from the roof, with whom one can experience lots of fun and exciting things. Or is Karlsson perhaps not real at all? At least that’s what Lillebror's family claims...
