A queer-feminist perspective on the ballet classic "Swan Lake." People transform into swans and back into people.
Between these beings beyond boundaries, new encounters and fantasies develop. With strong imagery, dance virtuosity, and atmospheric density, the performers break with traditional notions of love and fate – and with the classical heritage and colonial narratives of ballet.
To the music of the band CocoRosie, they create a diverse, contemporary declaration of love for dance using urban dance styles and contemporary dance. An essential part of the production is the integrated audio description as well as integrated sign language.
