A group of children, many crayons, a large supply of paint, and jazz – that is WASCO! Ten young performers aged 7 to 13 build a world from nothing. They dance with colored pencils and brushes while creating their own universe. The result is a painting. Choreographer Lisbeth Gruwez and musician Maarten Van Cauwenberghe explore in WASCO! for everyone aged 6 and up the commonalities between music, painting, and dance.
