The times in which the youth and young adults of Generation Z are starting their independent lives today are challenging. At the same time, they encounter a multitude of prejudices: they are said to be lazy, demanding, far too sensitive, and constantly on their phones. GenZ Don’t Cry captures the voices of those born between 1995 and 2010. Their thoughts can be experienced through headphones, which also allow one to disconnect from the world and its disasters at any moment. The audience immerses itself in a 3D sound landscape that is created live on stage, performed by young people from the Ruhr area. This creates an immersive sound and innovative theater experience for everyone aged 14 and older.
