Composer Maurice Ravel would have preferred to hear his superhit Boléro in a factory. We fulfill this wish for his 150th birthday. In the machine hall of the Zweckel mine, the French collective Les Apaches ! emphasizes the "Rave" in Ravel. The mine becomes a dance floor, the stage is open for the audience. The Boléro undergoes a metamorphosis: from orchestral work to a jazz standard to a trance-like techno hit with Parisian DJ Tatyana Jane. Visually elaborate choreographies merge with virtual backgrounds.
