An unshakeable white horse in the midst of the cacophony of life
It feels as if you have been catapulted into a Fellini film. Falaise, French for "cliff," is an unforgettable sight, raw and poetic at the same time. The French-Catalan dance, theater, and circus troupe Baro d’evel performs in a chaotic, crumbling setting: walls full of holes from which performers tumble out, full of energy, always in motion. Between absurd humor and tender interactions, contradictions of human existence flash by. A living fresco in black and white, constantly in motion with acrobatic contortions, slapstick, animals, dance, and music. Eight performers, a white horse, and a flock of pigeons – Falaise poetically tells of the fall and rebirth of humanity. In the piece, suitable for families with children aged 10 and older, the company demonstrates through acrobatics and music that the end of the world can also be full of beauty.
