The award-winning choreographer Jeremy Nedd and the group Impilo Mapantsula combine the energetic and highly virtuosic Pantsula dance, once an expression of resistance against apartheid in South Africa, with the jazz inspired by spirituality and the cosmic influences of Alice Coltrane and Bheki Mseleku.

From the sound of the two jazz legends, Nedd creates a Cosmic Sonic Map (Jeremy Nedd) with his five-member ensemble, where rhythm and improvisation merge into a form of expression of Afrofuturism – an exhilarating and poetic journey through the past, future, and present with a stop in the galaxy.
