As a journey into the past, the archaeologist, anthropologist, and Scandinavianist Dr. Florian Huber takes you through the oceans down into the mysterious world below sea level.
For in the depths of the oceans lie not only centuries-old shipwrecks from the Stone Age to World War II, but also entire sunken cities and settlements. All these artifacts tell exciting stories from the past, into which the underwater archaeologist in the gasometer takes us. In his work, Florian Huber must repeatedly realize how fragile and threatened our oceans are – the research diver also addresses this in his exciting multi-vision presentation.
The visit to the exhibition "Planet Ocean" is included on the event day from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and afterwards until 11:00 PM following the lecture.
