The US duo combines elements of indie pop, freak folk, experimental music, and the "New Weird America" movement.
When the two American sisters Sierra (vocals, guitar, flute) and Bianca Casady decided to form a duo called CocoRosie in 2003, they probably had no idea that 22 years later they would still be active and performing on stages – and indeed as a fixed part of the indie scene. Recently, their eighth studio album "Little Death Wishes" was released, on which they once again sound wonderfully experimental and freak-folkish. With these new songs, as well as everything that made them popular since their breakthrough "Grey Oceans" (2007), CocoRosie is on a club tour.
