In the meantime, Moser, who triumphed brilliantly at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 2002, has played Schumann's classics worldwide with conductors such as Christian Thielemann and Zubin Mehta. Now he is experiencing this with his exquisite Guarneri cello and together with the acclaimed Ensemble RESTART. The program opens with Haydn's four-movement Symphony No. 49, rightly referred to as "La passione". Then it's off to sun-drenched Italy in the concert finale – with the "Italian" by Mendelssohn Bartholdy, a friend of Schumann, which was already celebrated with fervor at its premiere. You will see: That is three times boundless good music!
