AI, Art, and Sound - The artist Portrait XO explores computer-based creativity, the collaboration between humans and machines, and examines future-oriented new formats and applications. In the lecture talk, Portrait XO takes us through her work: integrating AI into workflows for music production, installations, and performances through the lens of artistic creation. It also addresses prejudices in society, speculative opinions about AI, and the impact of AI on creativity, identity, underrepresented cultures, and the society that she critiques in her art.
Open for discussions, the evening offers insight into the impact of AI from an artistic perspective.
BLAUES RAUSCHEN 2025
Under the artistic direction of Karl-Heinz Blomann, the festival has been exploring the interfaces between "human and machine, reality and fiction, sound and silence" since 2017. It addresses current developments – from artificial intelligence to algorithmic composition to a return to analog sound worlds – and poses questions about authorship, artistic freedom, and the limits of digital creativity. With its live format, BLAUES RAUSCHEN invites the audience to experience abstract art sensually and engage with aesthetic positions.
