For the 57th time, Witten will transform into the center of new chamber music for a weekend. This time, the focus is on the portrait composer Cassandra Miller, who addresses the question of how to make beautiful new things from old ones with her works. This is called "upcycling." The vocal ensemble Exaudi, Ilya Gringolts, Lawrence Power, and Nicolas Altstaedt demonstrate what that sounds like. The Ensemble Musikfabrik and the Ensemble Scope, on the other hand, dedicate their intermedial concert to the theme "#FILTER." The Kuss Quartet and Sarah Maria Sun invite you to a headphone concert. The GrauSchumacher Piano Duo (see photo) turns two pianos into large speakers. And the Trickster Orchestra makes its Witten debut with a concert on the occasion of the "WDR Liminal Music Prize."
