Dance and music of Argentine folklore are characterized by impressive vitality, expressiveness, and rhythms. They encompass stories of the indigenous people of South America and bear traces of European cultures. Modern imperialism has pushed these traditions into the background, but Chaignaud, Laisné, and Larcher integrate them into their artistic process. With a hypnotic mixture of songs and dances, they transform baroque aesthetics and South American myths into a true celebration.
