Trojnarski works with a variety of materials such as soot, graphite, metal, and pigment to capture natural phenomena like storms, auroras, or electromagnetic processes in vibrant, abstract compositions. At the same time, she also addresses the impacts of human actions in her works – air pollution, glacial melt, or wildfires are processed in striking images. The artist invites us to question our place in the ecosystem and to reflect on a respectful relationship with nature.
On February 21, the anniversary exhibition "40 Years of the Witten Artists' Association" will be opened. It showcases the diversity and creativity of the local art scene and offers insights into the artistic creation of the region.
