On the weekend of June 14 and 15, gardens and parks throughout Westfalen-Lippe will open their gates for visitors. Whether historical castle parks, lovingly maintained private gardens, or expansive park facilities – the "Days of Gardens and Parks in Westfalen-Lippe" invite you to discover the green diversity of the region.
Numerous public parks offer a colorful program with guided tours, music, activities for children, and much more. Many private garden owners are also participating, providing exclusive insights into their green oases.
This year's motto "The Whole Family" promises offerings for young and old – from exciting hands-on activities to relaxing moments in the garden.
On the spacious, park-like grounds of the Pankok Museum in Hünxe, various family-friendly events will take place on June 15, including a treasure hunt for children and guided donkey hikes.
More information, participating locations, and the complete program can be found at: www.gaerten-in-westfalen.lwl.org
The "Days of Gardens and Parks in Westfalen-Lippe" are based on an initiative of the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) and are supported by the NRW Ministry of Culture.
