A new understanding of nature in sounds

“Mother Nature” is dead. Humanity has irreversibly changed nature. The internationally renowned avant-garde composer David Lang was inspired by classical texts on the environment for his latest work. For "before and after nature," Tal Rosner creates video projections that show nostalgic images of nature while also opening up new perspectives. With the concert, Chorwerk Ruhr celebrates its 25th anniversary together with the New York instrumental ensemble Bang on a Can All-Stars.
