first and further steps: flies&tales - Cologne: CRIMINAL PLEASURES

16.04.2025 - 16.04.2025
CRIMINAL PLEASURES makes crime consumable by ironically questioning the high culture of our time and entering the genre of 'True Crime'.

In body language, an off-voice appears as a collective mediation instance. Who is the victim? Who is the perpetrator? Or is the question already irrelevant? The performers are searching for the ultimate misfortune and only find themselves in the end.

The collective flies&tales was founded by dancers Lenah Flaig and Josefine Patzelt, as well as musician and composer Eric Eggert. The collective aims to reflect the invisible privileges that surround us and translate them into a socially critical as well as aesthetic language.

In 2023, Flaig and Patzelt received a scholarship for "Dis-Tanz-Solo," which they used for the redesign of their collective. CRIMINAL PLEASURES premiered in September 2024 at the Orangerie Theater, Cologne. Since September 2024, Lenah Flaig and Josefine Patzelt have been the spokespersons for the dance section at Kulturnetzköln e.v..

Following the performance, there will be a choreographers' talk:

Lenah Flaig and Josefine Patzelt in conversation with choreographer Daniel Ernesto Müller

Admission for the dance guest performance: € 11,– / reduced € 6,–

Upon presentation of the volunteer card, the admission price of € 11,– is reduced to € 9.50.

Tickets can be reserved by phone at 02151-864848 or online https://www.krefeld.de/kartenreservierung
