Original compositions and own arrangements from minimal music, new classical music, and film music define the sound, which includes introspective improvisations and explosive motifs. Electronics add a personal touch and complete the program.

From a joint project at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, Sönke Schreiber, well-known to the audience in Kempen as a member of the ensemble "Elbtonal Percussion," and pianist Elisaveta Ilina developed the idea of juxtaposing piano and marimba and exploring new paths in chamber music, realizing their own concepts of sound and color.

The duo has, among other places, performed at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, at Schloss Salzau, and in the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. In 2016, their first CD was released, featuring Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" in the spotlight.
