
The ballet evening "Dips" not only celebrates the latest world premiere "Saturn" by Xin Peng Wang. It also commemorates the ten-year anniversary of the NRW Junior Ballet at the Dortmund Opera. The evening promises quite a colorful mix. The contemporary choreographer and dancer Nadav Zelner presents the world premiere of a work about the dynamics of interpersonal relationships with "Drama Class." Following that, a masterpiece by Marco Goecke: His award-winning "Blushing" is broadly about blushing. Goecke addresses shyness, tics, and situations that are overwhelming. His avant-garde language is a challenge for any ensemble. For the grand finale, Wang's "Saturn" – the title was chosen by the Chinese symbolically for the successful collaboration with the NRW Junior Ballet.
