Andreas Spering and his Capella Augustina have selected the pieces specifically for this occasion. In the case of Mozart's three "Salzburg Divertimenti," great listening pleasure is absolutely guaranteed. The same applies to the popular suite "From Holberg's Time," for which the Norwegian Edvard Grieg was inspired by baroque dances. And although the occasion for the string orchestra "Elegy" of the Englishman Edward Elgar was a sad one (he wrote the piece in memory of a deceased friend), this music strikes right at the heart.
