After her successful project featuring compositions by Couperin and Messiaen, Luisa Imorde's latest program is entirely focused on Johannes Brahms and his idols. Since Brahms had a strong affinity for Baroque music, his piano rhapsodies alternate with works by Bach and Händel, which the early music fan has performed at his Viennese piano evenings. In addition to the famous Bach "Chaconne," which is presented here in Busoni's arrangement, there are also many Brahms rarities to discover, such as his variations on a theme by Schumann.
