The exhibition "not dying" takes as its starting point Ingeborg Bachmann's unfinished "Types of Death" project. In it, she described how fascism, colonialism, and misogyny have now become part of the societal DNA. At the Rüschhaus, artistic and literary positions can be seen that process these forms of violence and stand against them. Authors have reacted to the artworks with literary and poetic notes. The texts (voiced by the authors) serve as an audio guide through the exhibition.
Works are on display from, among others, Christiane Blattmann, Brigitte Dunkel, Nora Hansen, Ani Schulze, Alison Yip, and students from the Münster Academy of Art. There are also texts by Dorothee Elmiger, Heike Geißler, Charlotte Krafft, Miedya Mahmod, Karosh Taha, or Evan Tepest.
