Saba-Nur Cheema's family comes from Pakistan, Meron Mendel grew up in a kibbutz. Together they have written a book that they will take on a reading tour: "Muslim-Jewish Supper".

Saba-Nur Cheema's family comes from Pakistan, she herself grew up in a socially disadvantaged area of Frankfurt, shaped by conservative Muslim community life. Meron Mendel was born in Israel and grew up in a kibbutz in the middle of the desert, influenced by military service in the West Bank and in Lebanon, before coming to Germany to study. As a couple, they jointly reflect on the increasingly polarized world in their essays, which are both personal and political, and discuss it.
