Sign language poetry is literature in sign language. In tandems, Rafael-Evitan Grombelka and Simone Scharbert as well as Miedya Mahmod and Jon Savkin have developed new sign language poems and lyrics and translated them into each other's form. Together, the four language artists will present their new works at the Rüschhaus.

On the Way to Droste: The Center for Literature at Burg Hülshoff
Burg Hülshoff in Münsterland is one of the most interesting places for literature in NRW. This is largely due to the team led by Jörg Albrecht, who turned it into a Center for Literature. A visit.
In addition to the sign poetry and lyrics created in tandems, which are presented by the four language artists at the Rüschhaus, the "Burg Hülshoff - Center for Literature" shows a selection of poems by Annette von Droste-Hülshoff translated by the sign language poets Julia Kulda Hroch and Laura-Levita Valyte.
For those interested, guided tours of the Rüschhaus will also be offered that day in German Sign Language.
