
Unlike what the name might initially suggest, the dump is not located in Northern Germany, but on the edge of the western Ruhr area and was developed into a local recreation area after the closure of the eponymous mine. Due to the circumstances such as the height of 102 meters above sea level, location, and the associated panoramic view, one of the most unique festival locations in NRW emerged alongside it.
Green meadows, a view far beyond the city limits, and plenty of space for various stages provide the backdrop for fans of electronic music. At this year's edition of the festival, alongside the circus tent with a 360° stage, four additional stages invite you to dance and celebrate, featuring international artists of electronic music – including both long-established DJs and newcomers.
