At the U20 Poetry Slam in the Bonn Pantheon, young poets between the ages of 10 and 20 regularly compete against each other. The event is moderated by the well-known slam poet Jana Goller and offers a platform for self-written texts that are shaped in various forms. The audience decides the outcome of the competition.
Regularly, it becomes young, colorful, and loud in the lounge of the Bonn Pantheon when a line-up of talented young poets between 10 and 20 years old takes the microphone to convince the audience and entertain them with poetry and wit. Because only one can win the first U-20 Slam of the region.
The poetry slam is a competition where the participants present their texts within a time limit of 6 minutes. They are completely free in their choice of topics and forms. Political, humorous, or personal texts are just as welcome as lyrical or experimental forms. The audience decides who advances to the final round.
