What if the promise of nature in one's own home is based on a dark secret? A grim vision of the future tells of artificially created children who never saw daylight – until a coincidence changes everything. A play for children aged 10 and up about freedom, memory, and the right to reality.

“Spring is coming and all you wish for is a few fresh tulips on your kitchen table? If only it weren't for that toxic pollen air! Going outside? Unthinkable! But we finally provide modern relief! Our Good Children are already looking forward to becoming a part of your household! Your Good Child is not afraid of the pollen drift and the toxic air that we owe to climate change. Every Good Child has been genetically modified so that it can bring the treasures of nature into your cozy home without worries. Don’t worry, every Good Child was artificially created for you deep underground using ethically absolutely unproblematic methods! Yes, for you! Indulge yourself in natural luxury! Every Good Child brings back a world where nature is a kind friend. Because you really shouldn’t have to do without fresh tulips despite the apocalypse!”

Deep underground, a handful of children live who have never seen the outside world. They play, laugh, argue, and cry, just like normal children, only without sunshine and fresh air. They do not know that they are trapped, that there is more than their little world down there, and that they are kidnapped and sold anew every night. But by chance, a detail in their perfectly timed routine changes and the world around them begins to crumble. Why are they being held captive? What is this nature and what has happened to the Earth? And who are they even? They quickly realize: There is more than just this one world.
