For those who like nostalgia, a secret tip in the Dortmund Brückstraße neighborhood is recommended. "Oma Doris" is a classic dance café from the 1960s. The dance and night club has been in existence since 1976.

Once, dance-loving gentlemen invited the ladies to the dance floor via a table phone. The plush atmosphere with dim lighting and hundreds of colored lamps encouraged closeness during Foxtrot and Tango. Meanwhile, things are more casual in "Oma Doris" now, but the original furnishings have endured to this day. In the dance café, there is a colorful mix of music – it ranges from house to reggae and trap to 80s pop and Neue Deutsche Welle.
