Admittedly, Beethoven Festival initially sounds like a tribute to the great composer. Of course, this is not entirely wrong when it comes to the Bonn concert series in late summer. But what is the deal with "Beethoven by Bike"?
It is a fact that the Beethoven Festival Bonn is one of the oldest music festivals in Germany – founded in 1845 by none other than Franz Liszt. However, it has some unusual formats in its program. In addition to the bike tour with concerts, there are after-work events, children's events, performances, and party concerts also known as "Singfonien".
